Cindy’s Girls Foundation Announces their Upcoming Arise Fundraising Gala

Cindy’s Girls Foundation would like to announce that we are raising money for our Mind Shift Makeover Program and many other programs. This year’s Arise Gala will focus on raising money and looking for sponsors for one of our projects, the Mind Shift Makeover. The Gala will be held on October 14th at Avalon Banquets, 3550 E Lincoln Highway, Merrillville, Indiana. Attendees can look forward to VIP seating arrangements for our most significant contributors, a seating award for several lucky guests, a live band and many other highly anticipated surprises. Performances will include Award-winning gospel artist Butter the Preacher and DJ Tone the Strategist.

We want to invite everyone to come out and contribute to raising money for several projects we have slated for this and next year. These projects include our Adopt-A-School program, therapy sessions, life coaching, business coaching, school supplies, and toiletries for school-age children.

Our main reason for the Gala is the Mind Shift Makeover, a program we developed to assist victims of domestic violence in working and potentially starting their businesses. Three women have been selected to participate in this program. We will provide them services such as business consulting, clinical therapy, and life coaching to re-enter the workforce and achieve their business goals. Our projects will be done in collaboration with Nzinga Mind and Heart Life Coaching, Cheryl D. Butterfly Effect Coaching and Urban Terrain Counseling to provide these women with all they need. We started this program to raise awareness about domestic violence in the community and educate people on how they can play a role in helping those in need.

The word Arise, meaning emerge or stand-up, came to our founder in guided meditation and self-reflection and led to the premise for this extraordinary Gala. This event is an excellent opportunity for you to get involved in our charity work and make a difference in the lives of these women and children we plan to help.
